What is "Man Lives" & What does it even mean?
Man Lives is inspired by the idea behind Jean-Michel Basquiat’s phrase “Man Dies.” Basquiat was a famous artist in the 1980s who started out doing graffiti in New York and became known for his raw paintings that talked about life, struggle, identity, and society. His work often showed the darker or more serious side of the human experience. Man Lives takes inspiration from that idea but flips it into something more positive. Instead of focusing on the end, it focuses on the time we actually have to live and do something meaningful. That’s where the slogan Think Less comes in — it’s about not getting stuck overthinking your life and instead using your time to act, create, and really live.
